Lorraine Marjory Rose, avid reader

Lorraine Marjory Rose, 68, of Lewes, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, surrounded by her family. She was born Saturday, April 30, 1949, in Darby, Pa., daughter of the late Allan and Thelma Wrang.

Mrs. Rose graduated from Brandywine High School. She married the love of her life, Benjamin C. Rose Oct. 26, 1968, and they shared many wonderful years together raising their family. She enjoyed tai chi and quilting in her spare time. Mrs. Rose was an avid reader and she loved cruising. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband Benjamin Rose and her son Benjamin Allan Rose. She is survived by her children: Lisa, Todd and Sara Rose; and her grandchildren: Andrew and Jordan Morrison, Tyler Stress and Brooke Faulkner.

Services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
