Lunch With a Purpose names next year’s nonprofit beneficiaries

Lunch With a Purpose/Coastal Delaware board members recently gathered at Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant in Millsboro for a luncheon with representatives from the nine nonprofit beneficiaries selected for the 2024-25 season.
Cheryl Mitchell of Lunch With a Purpose welcomed all 20 attendees. Event organizer Helen Phillips presented preliminary training materials.
Luncheon dates and participating charities this year are: Sept. 4, First State Community Action Agency; Oct. 2, Fostering Wishes; Nov. 6, Laurel Public Library; Dec. 4, Primeros Pasos Early Learning Center; Jan. 8, Slaughter Neck Community Action Organization; Feb. 5, Children’s Beach House; March 5, Red Bird Legacy Foundation; April 2, Run Saniyah Run; and May 7, Champions for Children’s Mental Health.
