Magic of Christmas comes to Angola By The Bay

The Grinch was the theme for this year’s community Christmas celebration held Dec. 7, at Angola By The Bay, with more than 100 neighbors and friends attending. 

Many dressed in costume to match the theme. A DJ provided music and other fun activities. Dinner was catered so everyone could enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship.

The ABTB recreation committee starts to plan this annual event in July, and it’s a big group effort. Throughout the year, property owners eagerly pitch in to help each other and provide community service, so this gathering is a celebration of all their hard work.

Portraying Santa Claus this year is resident Jack Noel, a well-known local magician, who is not intimidated by the 7-foot-tall Grinch he designed and built.
