Marjorie Moore Snave, nurtured her family
Marjorie Moore Snave, 83, went to heaven Tuesday, March 13, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Marjorie was born to Raymond Cecil Moore and Georgine Waters Moore Nov. 29, 1928, in Lawrence, Ks., an only child. She graduated from South Shore High School and attended DePauw University. The most important job to her was nurturing her family and her work with Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Robert L. Snave; and son, Thomas R. Snave. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara J. Brttingham and her husband Bill of Rehoboth and Joan Beil and her husband Steve of Lac du Flambeau, Wisc. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dustin Tash; Jeanette Cook and husband Jason; Carolyn Sullivan and her husband Brad; Lori Snave, Dan Beil and his wife Melissa; Bethany Tash; and two stepgrandchildren, Ashley Brittingham Sykes and Billy Brittingham; and two great-grandchildren, Mia Snave Cook and Sydney Sykes.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, March 18, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th St., Wilmington. Interment will be private.
