Mary R. Petti, helped others
Mary R. (Dispenza) Petti, 92, of Milton, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Mary was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Corsello) Dispenza.
Mary worked in the healthcare industry for many years as a dietary aide in a nursing home in New Jersey.
Mary will be remembered for her gift of always making people laugh and for always feeding a multitude of people. She will be greatly missed by all who have loved her, and have known her because of her kindness and willingness to always be there to help.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles “Charlie” Petti; and two brothers, Santo and Anthony Dispenza.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Petti of Milton, and Jeannette Petti of Oceanport, N.J., and a son, Edward Petti of Lancaster, Pa.; her grandson, Charles Brown and wife Antoinette; four great-grandchildren: Shane, Haley, and twins Logan and Cole; a sister, Jean Sibilia; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as her beloved dogs, Nini and Chas.
A private memorial service will be held in December.
