Matt’s Fish Camp Ale to debut March 31
Beginning Friday, March 31, all Matt’s Fish Camp locations in coastal Sussex County will feature Matt’s Fish Camp Ale, a light, effervescent beer with lemon notes and minimal bitterness.
The craft beer was created by the award-winning Thompson Island Brewing Company, a sister restaurant in Rehoboth Beach.
“Matt’s Fish Camp Ale was brewed to pair well with onion rings, lobster rolls, and fried clams - all the classics that Matt’s Fish Camp is known for, and the ale is so good that we decided to keep some on site to serve at Thompson Island,” said Lauren Bigelow, beer director.
The new ale, which has an ABV of 5%, is on draft and in cans.
The first 48 customers who order a pint of the beer or purchase a four-pack to go March 31 will receive a Matt’s Fish Camp glass with their orders.
There are Matt’s Fish Camp restaurants in Lewes and Fenwick Island. The flagship restaurant is in North Bethany near the Indian River Inlet bridge.
For a limited time, the ale will also be available at Thompson Island Brewing Company.
