McCalley-Hyett engagement announced

William and Tairn McCalley of Hampton, Va., are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter Meghan McCalley to Ernie Hyett, son of Norman and Gayle Hyett of Middletown.
The proposal took place in downtown Annapolis, Md., on the water at Ego Alley. The proposal was witnessed by both parents of the bride- and groom-to-be. The couple met at a Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce function held at the Starboard Restaurant. Meghan is employed by the chamber, while Ernie is the owner of Hyett Refrigeration Inc.
A wedding is planned for 2024 along the waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
