Michael B. Williams, software engineer

Michael B. Williams, 56, of Rehoboth Beach and Lancaster, Pa., died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at his Rehoboth Beach home.

He was a computer software engineer for Advanced IT Services, Warrenton, Va., and Systems Made Simple. A 1975 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, he attended University of Rochester, University of Miami, and he was a graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine, Bethesda, Md. An avid dog lover, he was the former president and current board member of Overlook Dog Park, Manheim Twp, Pa. He was passionate about the beach, entertaining his friends and family, traveling throughout Europe and the Caribbean, skiing, and horseback riding.

He was born Sept. 28, 1957, to Donald G. Williams of Hummelstown and the late Ann Marie Kane Williams.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his partner, Chris G. Mandros of Lancaster; stepmother, Kaye M. Williams; sister Beth Ann Paul of Dauphin, Pa.; two nieces, Sarah Marie Sporer (Robert) and Maggie Ann Paul; a nephew, Chad D. Paul (Jessica); two great-nephews and two great-nieces; and his cherished Bernese Mountain Dog, Argos.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m.. until memorial services begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, Pa. Interment will follow in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp., Pa.
