Hundreds of Delmarva residents flocked to Milton Dec. 13 for the Holly Festival, which celebrates the holiday season and Milton's holly-filled history. Vendors lined the Milton Fire Hall, Goshen Hall, Milton Theatre and Milton library with an array of arts and crafts and goodies for holiday shopping.
Native Miltonian Mike Wajda, who grew up in town at the end of its holly wreath-making fame, showed interested visitors the tricks of the trade in making authentic holly wreaths. Following the festival, the Milton Century Club also hosted its annual Holiday House Tour, inviting visitors to take a peek at some decorated, historic homes.
