A picture-perfect Sunday was the backdrop for one of Milton’s longest-running traditions: the Milton Garden Club’s annual Garden Tour.
Now in its 23rd year, the Sept. 15 tour featured eight homes and their gardens in and around Milton, with each house having an accompanying artist on site.
One of the homeowners taking part in the Milton Garden Tour was Debbie Carbone-Agresti, who owns 334 Union St. with her husband, John. One of the most popular features at her house is her rose bush, as well as her mature yew bush. The Agrestis home was built around 1830, and includes a carriage house and a garage with a covered patio. The Agrestis have owned the property since 2020.

Tour goers had a rare opportunity to check out the former Welch’s pharmacy at 205 Union St. The house with the downstairs pharmacy was built by John Brunner Welch in 1875 and remained in the family until 2011, when it was purchased by Roberta and Gordon Hagen.

The garden of Jack Campbell and Ramsey Santiago Cuevas is at 412 Union St. The house was built in 1887, but was purchased by the current owners in 2022, who have since put in a colorful garden in the backyard.
