September 7, 2018

Being an informed citizen requires staying engaged and constantly learning. To encourage the community to remain informed, the Milton Theatre is hosting its first Guest Speaker Series with NPR Political Editor Domenico Montanaro Saturday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m.

In a TED Talk  fashion, this lecture will be presented as an open forum with the opportunity for guests to interact, ask questions, and learn from an expert political commentator. Hear Montanaro offer his opinions and evaluations of the current political climate. The event will be moderated by Don Rush of Delmarva Public Radio.

With nearly a decade of politics and news experience, Montanaro is NPR's lead editor for politics and digital audience. Based in Washington, D.C., he directs political coverage across the network's broadcast and digital platforms. The event is presented by NPR, Delmarva Public Radio, and Salisbury University.

Tickets are $8-$12. Purchase tickets online at www.MiltonTheatre.com, by calling 302-684-3038 or at the box office. This event is for all ages.

The Milton Theatre is located in downtown historic Milton on Union Street along the Broadkill River.
