The 2025 Mispillion Art League Annual Student Show will be on display Tuesday, April 8, to Saturday, May 3, at the gallery at 5 N. Walnut St., Milford.
The collaboration with Milford School District showcases artwork made by students in local public school art classes.
The show was founded in 2004 by Vicki Hudson, a public school art teacher, and artist Sarah Gallagher as part of Milford’s Bug & Bud Festival. Presented to gallery visitors who may not have a reason to go into a school, the exhibit showcases what art educators are doing to enrich students' academic experiences.
Volunteer and former board member Cathy Walls said, “MAL is committed to supporting arts education because a quality arts curriculum builds learning skills, increases academic performance, and provides opportunities to reward the skills of children who learn differently.”
