M&T Bank presents $2,500 to Lewes library for 2020 events

M&T Bank recently presented a check for $2,500 as a Friends Package sponsor for the Lewes Public Library’s 2020 fundraising events, including Loopin’ for the Library Saturday, June 13; the Shakespeare Festival set for Sunday to Saturday, Sept. 13 to 19; and the Old-Fashioned Community Carnival Saturday, Oct. 3.
These yearly events help raise funds for the library’s operating costs. As an event sponsor, M&T Bank is helping to further the library’s mission to provide access for a wide variety of educational, informational and recreational materials that encourage a love of reading, exploration and discovery for all members of the community.
