Mali Belcamino from the Rehoboth Ale House brings her Car Bombs Away milkshake to the judges. This shake won first place in Best Coffee Milkshake.
Best Showcase was awarded to Mug & Spoon for its Blackout Shake.
Desi Slaveva from The Ice Cream Store puts the finishing touches on her Say Hello to Freshness shake.
Filip Radicojcevic from Mug & Spoon brings his Red, White and Blue shake to the judges. Radicojcevic placed second in the Best Shake category.
Event MC Chip Hearn tabulates some judges’ picks during the event. Hearn said, “This is a great way to bring businesses together for a fun event.”
Mug & Spoon on Rehoboth Avenue held a Milkshake Championship Aug. 29. Local businesses competed for cash prizes in Best Milkshake, Best Showcase and Best Coffee Milkshake.
Along with competitors from Mug & Spoon were Matt’s Fish Camp, The Ice Cream Store, Hopkins Farm Creamery, Cooter Brown’s and Rehoboth Ale House.
Judges for the events were Alyssa Titus, Schell Brothers director of marketing; Sam Nainani, Touch of Class Jewelry; Steve Elkins, CAMP Rehoboth; and Bob Backman, WRDE president.
