NARFE chapter supports Tunnels to Towers Foundation

Coastal Sussex NARFE Chapter 1690 recently hosted guest speaker Brian Brubaker, events director for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation Delmarva. He spoke about the foundation’s work to support first responders and its new undertaking in support of veterans who are homeless. 

Bill Jenkins, past chapter president, passed away in December. Having worked in New York City, prior to moving to Delmarva, Jenkins held the foundation in high esteem. NARFE presented a memorial donation to the foundation as a tribute to the work Jenkins did in support Tunnels to Towers, and of federal employees.

The chapter received a letter Breakwater Village in Lewes, expressing thanks for holiday donations to brighten the lives of senior residents. New officers were also installed for the year. Learn more at narfe-de.org.
