New films to open June 7 at Cinema Art Theater
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater, starting Friday, June 7, will present “The Dead Don’t Hurt” and “The Lord of Misrule.”
The 2024 Pride Film Festival, spotlighting LGBTQ+ documentaries, features and international films, is set for Friday to Sunday, June 14 to 16.
A visually striking Western drama directed by Viggo Mortenson, “The Dead Don’t Hurt” tells the story of star-crossed lovers during the Civil War. In the horror film “The Lord of Misrule,” a priest begins a desperate search when her daughter goes missing during the harvest festival. As she uncovers secrets from the town's dark past, she must decide how much she's willing to sacrifice to save her daughter from the grip of evil.
