The five-decade-old eatery has set a Friday, May 8, reopening date.
Both the North First Street and the Rehoboth Avenue locations for Nicola Pizza have closed.

Citing the continued rise of COVID-19 cases in Sussex County, Rehoboth Beach’s Nicola Pizza has chosen to temporarily close its doors.
According to a Facebook post April 27, the almost five-decade-old restaurant, which opened in 1971, said this was the best way to keep staff and customers safe.
“We have appreciated all of the community support everyone has shown us since we had to switch gears to carry out,” said the post. “Our locals are the reason we love what we do every day.”
The restaurant has set Friday, May 8, as the targeted reopening date.
