No injuries in Route 1 truck fire

No one was injured during a vehicle fire Feb. 10 in the northbound lanes of Route 1 near Cave Neck Road.
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on SR1 around 5 p.m. when for unknown reasons the truck caught fire, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police. The driver, a 37-year-old Millsboro man, was not injured, he said.
Traffic was detoured on to Cave Neck Road.
Lewes firefighters responded to the scene to help put out the fire.
