No sign of Mrs. Tishell at the Portwenn Pharmacy just sweet treats, confections and the Gazette

Cape Gazette readers Rebecca & Steve Gaw are shown here in front of the real-life sweets shop, Buttermilk Confections, which doubles as Mrs. Tishell’s pharmacy in the popular “Doc Martin” series. The shop is located in the town of Port Isaac in Cornwall England. Mrs. Tishell’s pharmacy has been the setting for many of the funniest scenes in the series. Mrs. Tishell is just a lonely old lady with a crush on the grumpy doc.
