NSDAR chapter to host tea party fundraiser April 12

The Maj. Nathaniel Mitchell Chapter of the Georgetown/Millsboro National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will host a high tea party at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 12, at Millsboro Public Library, 217 W. State St., Millsboro.
In a musical and anecdotal presentation, performing artist Karen Knight will portray Abigail Adams, America’s second first lady. Guests are encouraged to wear decorative hats, and colonial costumes are welcome.
Proceeds benefit the chapter’s Selbyville Hometown Heroes banner project, which honors and recognizes veteran from World War I to the present.
