Outkast wins eighth YMCA flag football championship

The Outkast flag football team won its eighth straight YMCA Adult League Flag Football Championship with a convincing 50-6 win over The Pack Dec. 13 at Lewes School field. The Pack had beaten Outkast earlier in the season by two points, but the postseason is a whole different story as Outkast took home the prized gold football.
"This one is a real special one," said Outkast Captain Robert Moore. "We were tied with Lance Surfboards at seven wins each, so getting the eighth one is great."
The Outkast team hasn't changed personnel much for each of its championships.
"We mostly still have our core group," said Moore. "It's a great group of guys, and we play our best when we have fun on the field."
Outkasts had four interceptions in the game with two of them returned for scores.
