The Padua Pandas soccer team ran their Pandetta Power Game on Cape May 4 at Champions Stadium, beating the Vikings 5-0 with a 31-1 advantage in shots.
Cape freshman goalie Lucy Siranides stopped 26 shots, which is a single-game school record until some alumna steps from her minivan and claims to have saved more back in her own day.
Padua led by just 1-0 at the half on a goal from Emilia Ryjewski.
But in the second half, there were four unanswered goals by Ashlee Brentlinger, Lindsay Machamer and two from Arryana Daniels.
The Vikings dropped to 7-5 on the season with three games remaining - at home versus Laurel and road games at Caesar Rodney and Dover.
Padua, a national power player, is now 9-2-1 on the season, but 9-0 versus Delaware teams with a composite score of 38-1.
The Pandas tied Kellam High School of Virginia 0-0, and lost to Westminster School of Georgia 4-0 (fifth in the country) and J.L. Mann of South Carolina 4-1 (14th in country).
