Patrice Ann Hosse, loved by many

Patrice Ann Hosse, 53, of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

Patrice was born July 7, 1962, in Baltimore, Md. She grew up in Glen Burnie, Md. before moving to Georgetown at the age of 10. Patrice was a proud member of the graduating class of 1980 from Sussex Central High School. She also obtained her associate of arts degree in accounting from Delaware Technical Community College in 1997. As an adult Patrice lived all over Sussex County, and even spent a few years in Tucson, Ariz. and Tampa, Fla, before returning home to Sussex County in 2011.

Patrice was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a woman of faith, who enjoyed crafts, painting and country music. She could always be found socializing, savoring anything sweet, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Patrice absolutely loved the beach and bragging about her children and grandchildren to anyone and everyone. Patrice was known as a truly sweet, incredibly intelligent, continuously positive and eternally loving woman. She is greatly missed by the many lives she touched with her kindness and unforgettable smile over the years.

Patrice is survived by her children: Rebecca Bryan and her husband Scott, Joshua David Clukey and his wife Jessica, and Carlie James Petrovics and her husband Yanis; grandchildren: Taylor Bryan, Emma Clukey, Madison Bryan, Ella Clukey and Sydney Bryan.

She is also survived by her birth mother, Henrietta Brown and her husband Joseph; her parents, Ernest and Nelsa Hosse; siblings: Robert Jennette, Colleen Briggs and her husband John, Andrew Hosse, Laura King and her husband Sean, Billy Jennette, Rosemary Hosse, Freddy Jennette and his wife Jennifer, Joanna Weaver and her husband Mike, and Andy Jennette and his wife Jenny, in addition to many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers at Shore Answer LLC, and the great love she found late in life, Shawn Kissinger, his daughter, Samantha Kissinger, and granddaughter, Kelis Kissinger.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, July 19, at Lewes Church of Christ, 15183 Coastal Hwy., Milton, officiated by Adam Woods, where friends may visit with the family beginning at 2 p.m. The family requests guests wear casual, summer attire to celebrate the life and love of Patrice.

Flowers can be sent directly to Lewes Church of Christ, or in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford DE 19963, who provided Patrice and her family with the greatest support during their time of need.
