During the Delaware Board of Education regular monthly meeting Feb. 16, the state board and Secretary Susan Bunting recognized Delaware’s Administrators of the Year. Dr. Patricia S. Oliphant of Sussex Academy was recognized for receiving the IMPACT Award from the Delaware Charter School Network.
In October 2016, Oliphant received the award for exceeding the criteria of being a visionary for significant educational improvements that inspire others while utilizing innovative and creative approaches, and addressing the compelling needs of students.
