Paul L. Stutts, retired accountant

Paul L. Stutts, 80, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, June 16, 2016.  He was born Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1936, in Washington, D.C., son of the late Ernest and Anna (Fitzsimmons) Stutts.

 Mr. Stutts was a graduate of Gonzaga High School, and continued his education at Benjamin Franklin University where he received his degree in accounting. Following his schooling, he served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for several years. Mr. Stutts dedicated many years as CFO for Frank Parsons Paper Company in Washington, D.C. and Maryland from which he retired to the beach in 1999. At the beach, Mr. Stutts stayed active windsurfing, biking and exercising at the YMCA. He also enjoyed frequenting bookstores and chatting with locals, but most of all he enjoyed time spent taking his grandchildren to the beach.

 Mr. Stutts is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Carol Finnin Stutts; his son, Christopher P. Stutts of Annandale, Va.; his two daughters: Kathleen A. Stutts of Carlsbad, Calif. and Mary S. Noy and her husband Peter of Towson, Md.; and his three grandchildren: Natasha Stutts, Sean Noy and Colleen Noy.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 22, at noon, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where friends may visit beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Education and Support Group of Sussex County, Delaware, P.O. Box 56, Lewes, DE 19958.
