Phoebe M. Baldwin, retired seamstress
Phoebe M. Baldwin, 84, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Abington, Pa., daughter of the late James and Nora (Prendergast) Craig.
Mrs. Baldwin was a seamstress at the Library Bindery in Horsham, Pa. for many years. In her spare time, Mrs. Baldwin enjoyed sewing and travellling but her main focus was always her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters: Pat DeCaro of Fort Myers, Fla. and Carol Grahovac and her husband Steven of Georgetown; two sons: James Baldwin and his wife Linda of Winterhaven, Fla. and Mark Baldwin and his wife Sue of Glenside, Pa.; three granddaughters: Tara Kaufmann of Orlando, Fla., Sarah Baldwin of Glenside, and Rachael Grahovac of Georgetown; and four grandsons: Josh Baldwin of Orlando, Mark Baldwin Jr. and Matthew Baldwin both of Glenside, and Samuel Grahovac of Georgetown.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, PO Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947.
