Police investigate house shooting in Ellendale
Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Jan. 14 in an Ellendale neighborhood.
Police responded at 10:18 p.m. to a residence on Candy Lane for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found the home had been struck several times. Several shell casings were recovered at the scene.
There were two adults in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured, police said. The motive behind the incident remains unclear, and a description of a suspect is unavailable.
