Polls are now open at Cape High, Lewes Fire Hall, Mariner Middle and Rehoboth Elementary for the Cape Henlopen school board election.
Incumbent Jessica Tyndall and challenger Shawn Lovenguth are vying for the Area A seat that ecompasses the greater Milton area. The four-year term runs from July 1 through June 30, 2027.
Candidates must reside in Area A, but all eligible voters age 18 and older who reside anywhere in the Cape Henlopen School District can vote. Registration is not required; just bring identification and proof of residency in the district.
Polls close at 8 p.m.
