Porsche Club rally supports Children’s Beach House

Sponsored by the Delaware Region Porsche Club of America, a car rally took place April 15 starting and ending at Children’s Beach House in Lewes. Some of the proceeds from the event were donated to Children’s Beach House.
Rally participants took part in a 50-mile tour of rural Sussex County and had to complete a sheet of questions related to landmarks along the route. The rally was also open to the public.
Lisa Hatfield, president of the Delaware Region Porsche Club of America, acts as the official starter of the April 15 rally.

If it’s a car rally, Art Wilson’s Delaware First Shark dune buggy has to be there. Wilson’s most eye-catching part of his buggy is the 110-pound fiberglass shark named Bruce.
