Preston Automotive Group announced nearly $16,000 was raised for the American Heart Association. For each car sold Feb. 5-15, the company donated $50 to the association. A red frog was also distributed with every purchase in an effort to spread awareness for heart disease.
February is celebrated as heart month and to honor the month, on Feb. 5 the staff of Preston Automotive Group broke out red outfits for National Wear Red Day to stand with Go Red For Women. Between Preston Ford, Preston Nissan, Preston Mazda and Preston Hyundai, the autoplex was filled to the brim with red.
Preston Automotive Group encourages healthy habits that prevent heart disease. Those who smoke should probably stop because nonsmokers are a lot less likely to get heart disease. Consistent physical exercise could help prevent heart disease by aiding in quitting smoking, losing weight, reducing stress, increasing HDL cholesterol, and lowering blood pressure. Eating properly helps people stay healthy and keep hearts ticking for a long time.
2016 marks the 13th anniversary of the Go Red For Women event, and Preston Ford is working to spread awareness about this illness. Every dollar of the $15,900 raised went to research and education advancements via the American Heart Association. The company thanks the many customers who participated in the Preston Automotive Go Red For Women event.
