Rachel Sue Hudson, former Millsboro resident

Rachel Sue Hudson of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Millsboro, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at her son’s home in Florida after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Sue was born in Job, W.Va., to the late Julius and Nellie White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband George, son Steven and brother Bob.

Sue is survived by her sons: Herman (Tish), with whom she resided, of Ocala, Troy (Jill) of Johnson City, Tenn., and Tony of Millsboro; brothers: Donald of Georgetown, Gerald (Joyce) of Georgetown, Lewis (Sharon) of Easley, S.C., Larry (Maureen) of Greenwood; sisters: Helen (Sam) Wilson of Georgetown and Donna of Dover; grandchildren: Carrie, Kaitlin, Brittany, Mike, Bryce, Scott, Megan, Rachel, Chad; and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service and interment were held, Thursday, Jan. 6, at Cokesbury Cemetery.
