Raymond Forker of Greenwood wins car from i.g. Burton

“We love it when people win!” said Charlie Burton, president of i.g. Burton and Co. He was referring to Raymond Forker, the latest winner of a car at the annual i.g. Burton off-site car and truck sale at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington. “There is nothing more fun than seeing someone get the grand prize! Every time we have our big sales, we send a winning mailer. So it is very important for people to come to the fairgrounds to see if they are the winner or not.”

Forker, who lives in Greenwood, received a phone call from M.J. Lofland, director of sales and finance, to let him know that he had won a 2015 Chrysler. “I didn’t know who was calling and I thought it was a joke or something. It’s hard to believe!” he said.

The i.g. Burton and Co. dealership was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest family-owned car dealerships in the United States. It has locations in Milford and Seaford and features Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and pre-owned vehicles. The annual fall and spring off-site sales feature over 1,000 new and pre-owned vehicles along with the chance to win a car just like Raymond Forker.
