RB Main Street announces 2023 Cottage and Town Awards

Annual event recognizes projects reflecting city’s charm, beauty and history

Rehoboth Beach Main Street announced the winners of its 2023 Cottage and Town Awards during a celebration held Sept. 24 at The Bellmoor Inn & Spa. The annual awards are given to projects around town that celebrate the charm, beauty and history of Rehoboth Beach.

Jim and Karen Hutchison received the Residential New Construction Award for their home at 127 Rodney St.

James and Amy Keating garnered the Residential Renovation Award for the renovation of their home at 30 Park Ave.

The City of Rehoboth Beach was presented the Landscape Design Award for its canalside garden.

Coast Rehoboth Beach was given the Large-Scale Commercial Renovation Award for work done to the former Sandcastle Motel at 123 Second St.

Downtown Blues was awarded the Small-Scale Commercial Renovation for improvements made at 8 North First St., which was the longtime home to Nicola Pizza.

RBMS Organization Committee Chair Rick Perry and RBMS board member Sandra Skidmore sponsored the awards.
