Reading the Gazette at the Sagrada Família in Barcelona

September 21, 2022

Carol Golden of Golden Coastal Realty and Joseph Vilone have been working very hard on checking things off of their bucket list. While cruising in Spain, they visited the historical region of Barcelona. Here they are shown at Sagrada Família. It is the largest unfinished Roman Catholic church even though construction began back in 1882. This iconic building is the legacy of famed Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, and his mixture of Art Nouveau, Gothic design, and Catalan Modernism brings in flocks of architecture aficionados and casual visitors alike. The part built by Gaudí was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. The avid Cape Gazette readers plan on heading to Italy next.
