For more than five decades, families have played skee ball and the many other games at the popular, family-owned amusement park. Opened by the Fasnacht family after the infamous Storm of 1962 – which devastated the Boardwalk and its businesses – nearly 30 family members are still involved in the business. They purchased the property from the Dentino family who owned Rehoboth Beach Sports Center. Over the years, other properties have been added to expand Funland.
Funland is now open on weekends before moving to seven days a week starting in June. Go to www.funlandrehoboth.com/opening-times for hours.
