March 5, 2021

Three new board members have joined Rehoboth Beach Main Street.

Blake Carey of the Smith Firm is a member of the Delaware and Sussex County bar associations. His areas of legal practice include representing both purchasers and lenders in commercial and residential real estate transactions; business formations and transfers including drafting, review and negotiation of leases, non-competition agreements and purchase and sale agreements, along with preparing applications for new or transfers of existing liquor licenses; estate administration and planning; and civil litigation relating to the aforesaid areas. Carey also handles a heavy array of personal injury matters. He has practiced in all trial courts in Delaware, including the Court of Chancery. Professionally, he also served on the board of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association as a past co-membership chair.

Lynn Misener, owner of Sassy Chic, is a Delaware native who has lived in Rehoboth and Lewes for over 55 years. She hopes to bring her history with this area to the Rehoboth Beach Main Street organization where she will serve as co-chair of the promotion committee. Being a part of this organization and the promotion committee allows her to work side by side with others to bring Rehoboth Beach back to life during these unprecedented times. In addition to owning Sassy Chic in downtown Rehoboth, Misener continues her 45-year healthcare career working for the Delaware Health Information Network.

Yolanda Pineda, Mariachi restaurant owner, is a businesswoman and full-time resident of Rehoboth Beach. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the board with 15 years of consistent high-volume sales and marketing. Important to the success of Mariachi is Pineda’s focus on presentation with visual appeal for each cuisine served. She continues to motivate her team members to carry out their work with excellence.

Established in 2006 in Rehoboth Beach, Mariachi is a family-oriented and family-friendly restaurant, taking great care to provide the best service and freshest food to every customer. The commitment to great food and great service has made Mariachi one of the top Latino restaurants in Rehoboth Beach and surrounding areas, a badge Pineda said she and her team never take lightly.
