Rehoboth Public School as it appeared in 1913
September 17, 2019
The existing, but no longer used, sand-colored Rehoboth High School is slated for demolition this fall, giving way to a new school on the 25-acre Silver Lake-front property. Before that school was built in the mid-1900s, the red-brick building shown here in this 1913 postcard served the children of the growing resort community. This building was constructed in 1908 and fronted on Rehoboth Avenue where city hall is now located.
