Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been an unprecedented year on the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, and especially for Funland. Forced to open later in the season with capacity restrictions, the iconic amusement center is adding more September dates to its schedule for the first time in its 58-year history. Traditionally, Funland closes its doors following Labor Day weekend. However this year, Funland will open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout September.
Funland offers a $20 Fun Pass for unlimited rides for a two-hour period with a limit of 200 people per session. Passes must be reserved in advance at funlandrehoboth.com. Arcade games are accessible from the Boardwalk without admission to the ride area.
The schedule is as follows:
Fridays – Arcade games open 3:30 to 9:30 p.m.; ride groups from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.
Saturdays – Arcade games from 1 to 9 p.m.; ride groups from 1:45 to 3:45 p.m., 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.
Sundays – Arcade games from noon to 7 p.m.; ride groups from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
