The newly renovated Seaside Nature Center at Cape Henlopen State Park will open to the public on Saturday, April 1. The park’s ecosystems are highlighted in new exhibits, including a new touch tank and an enhanced osprey cam showing a nesting pair of ospreys in the park. The center’s five aquariums have been updated as well.
Reservations for programs can also be made at the center, which is open daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting April 1. The borrow-a-bike program is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weather permitting.
