Republican women’s clubs to hold speed campaigning event Oct. 24

The Sussex County Republican Women’s Club and the Kent County Republican Women’s Club will co-host a speed campaigning event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at Ellendale Fire Hall, 301 Main St., Ellendale.
In small groups, local voters will meet with statewide and local candidates to ask questions, and discuss their concerns and ideas. Candidates will move from table to table every 15 minutes, providing face-to-face, personal interaction.
The event follows the success of the Sussex club’s recent speed campaigning gathering at Millsboro Fire Hall Oct. 10.
