RISE cuts ribbon in Rehoboth

November 6, 2016

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for RISE Fitness + Adventure Oct. 5. The gym’s new location at 35770 Airport Road in Rehoboth Beach is a 24,000-square-foot adult playground that supports children ages 8 and older to seniors in the Sussex County area.

“We are excited about our new location right off Route 1 in Rehoboth. We set out to create a gym that keeps people excited and eager to work out. The open layout brings in as many fitness disciplines as possible and was designed to entice members into trying something new and different. Focusing on their physical health shouldn’t seem like a chore - it should be fun and challenging,” says Ryan Peters, company director.

RISE was born out of boredom with the normal gym experience, founded by a team of fitness enthusiasts with a passion for helping people build a better version of themselves. RISE brings together elements from multiple disciplines; a complete fitness circuit, massive free-weight area, 40 group fitness classes, a wide variety of cardio and power lifting equipment, personal trainers, Rouge-equipped open gym, 34-foot-tall indoor rock wall, 14-foot-tall bouldering wall, state-of-the-art equipment, plus clean bathrooms and showers all under one roof.
