Robert M. Stecher, enjoyed walking
Robert M. Stecher, 93, of Duncansville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Montclair, N.J., Oct. 26, 1927, son of the late Melville and Avis (Atwood) Stecher. He married Joyce G. Graham, who preceded him in death in 2008.
Surviving are his honorary daughter, Kay Wilkins; honorary grandchildren: Teresa Meagher (Matt), Robyn Simon, Heather Davis, Renee Burkhard (Sylvester French); great-grandchildren: Arrissa Montague, Tony Burkhard, and Rohan Davis; and great-great-grandchildren: Skyler and Autumn.
Bob graduated from Montclair High School in 1946, and was a member of Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved reading the newspaper, watching NASCAR and wrestling. He enjoyed walking.
At Bob’s request, there will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held at the ocean.
