Mr. and Mrs. Claus strolled through downtown Millsboro during the town's annual Candy Cane Christmas Parade Dec. 10. The parade, which began on Mitchell Street and ended at Main Street, included floats from local businesses, performances by Sussex County high school bands and appearances by beauty pageant queens, politicians and local organizations.
The Millsboro Art League also held an open house during the parade for its third annual Holiday Sale, featuring a variety of locally-made pieces of art as well as hot chocolate and cookies for passers-by. The sale continues through Dec. 28.
