The Southern Delaware Senior Billiard League’s new season begins Friday, Jan. 4, and the organization is looking for more members.

Joe Mangini and Diana Roche are league operators. Mangini said the 50-and-older league costs $15 per season, which runs for four months. Weekly tournaments rotate among the Cape Henlopen Senior Center in Rehoboth, Jeff’s Tap Room and Grille in Bridgeville, Georgetown Billiards and Tavern in Georgetown, Independence adult community in Millsboro, Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, and The Villages at Red Mill Pond in Lewes.

The league plays call-your-pocket 8-ball. Mangini said the league is especially looking for women and players with a low handicap to join. Mangini said the schedule for the new league will be ready by the end of December. He said the $15 goes toward usage fees. For more information, call Mangini at 302-383-3263 or Roche at 302-745-9666.
