SoDel Cares, the philanthropic arm of Rehoboth Beach-based SoDel Concepts, recently donated $2,500 to Kent-Sussex Industries Inc., a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization headquartered in Milford.
“KSI helps people with disabilities find meaningful employment and contribute to their communities,” said Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, which has 17 restaurants in Delaware. Kammerer founded SoDel Cares in honor of SoDel Concepts founder, the late Matt Haley, a noted philanthropist.
“SoDel Cares was created to support organizations that assist citizens in the communities where we do business,” Kammerer said. “Without a doubt, KSI falls into that category; they support about 200 individuals annually.”
