More than 250 Special Olympics athletes and family members gathered Sept. 16 at Cape Henlopen State Park pier for the 26th annual Delaware Families Day at the Beach and the Hoss Cochran fishing tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Delaware Mobile Surf Fisherman Association and Lighthouse View Bait and Tackle with volunteers from Rehoboth Beach Lions Club. Lunch was provided by Rehoboth Beach Kiwanis Club with support from Rising Sun Masonic Lodge 4.
