East Coast Garden Center announced its kickoff to spring series will begin with a succulent make and take class at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at the center at 30366 Cordrey Road, Millsboro.
The demonstration lecture will familiarize participants with the use of succulents in containers. The cost of the class is $30, which includes instruction, the succulent plants and the container to take home.
Classes continue weekly through March 18, and the fee per class is $10. Additional topics include: making better plant decisions in planning a home landscape, Feb. 4; spring garden prep, Feb. 11; welcome to Delaware, Feb. 25; pollinator gardens, March 4; fundamentals of planting with seeds, March 11; and privacy screens, March 18.
