St. Peter’s youth to screen ‘Saving Inky’ documentary April 14
The St. Peter's youth group and David Schofield will explore stewardship of the Earth at 9:15 a.m., Sunday, April 14, in the downstairs meeting room at 211 Mulberry St., Lewes.
Attendees will read and discuss Psalm 104 and watch the “Saving Inky” documentary.
A pygmy sperm whale, Inky was rehabilitated in 1994 by the marine rescue team at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She had ingested several pieces of plastic that were blocking her digestive system. Once they were removed, she was able to eat again, and gain strength and weight.
Now a St. Peter's member, Schofield was the rescue coordinator for the National Aquarium when Inky was in its care.
All middle school and high school youth are welcome. For more information, contact jessica@stpeterslewes.org.
