State Farm teams with Habitat to make homeownership a reality
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is one of two affiliates in Delaware selected to receive a grant from State Farm. This year, Sussex Habitat was awarded $6,000. In celebration of Good Neighbor Month, State Farm agents and executive Kelly Brion spent time at 303 Rosa St., Georgetown, to help prepare homes for delivery.
“At State Farm, we help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams,” said Brion. “The dream of homeownership is central to the American dream, and no one helps people realize that dream like Habitat. That’s why State Farm is so grateful for the opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity of Sussex County. Our partnership with Habitat is supporting the growth and development of healthy and safe communities.”
