Styx rocks Freeman Arts Pavilion

American rock band Styx lit up the stage June 3 at Freeman Arts Pavilion. Styx draws from over four decades of barn-burning chart hits, joyous singalongs, and hard-driving deep cuts. Like a symphony that builds to a satisfying crescendo, a Styx set covers a wide range of stylistic cornerstones. Hits include “The Grand Illusion,” “Blue Collar Man,” “Lady” and “Come Sail Away.”

Lawrence Gowan does it all — lead vocals, keyboards and guitar.
Ricky Phillips is no newcomer to music; his fame is documented with Bad English prior to Styx.
Drummer Todd Sucherman has been a full-time member of the band since 1995.
Tommy Shaw has always had a following as the lead singer/guitarist for Styx, as well forging a great solo career and forming the group Damn Yankees.
